I live alone at my lake place all summer.
I cannot be there without a dog.
I used to have a Boxer, but he died last summer.
Now I have a Standard Poodle.
He has a big bark, and he is very alert.
Doesn't have scary dog cred, but I don't doubt he can get the job done if need be.
